"As a single income family of six, the greatest benefit of working for Phia is the free healthcare for those employed for five years. It isn’t just that my family’s healthcare is now free, but also high-quality. Our most recent delivery was twins, and one required surgery after birth and time in the NICU. The total we paid out-of-pocket was less than $500 for these services."

Cheyenne Lopes

Sr. Contested Liability Specialist
The Phia Group

"In August 2021, my first child was born, and we had to stay in the hospital a few extra days—usually an uncovered cost. The staff urged me to check with my plan, and as a Phia employee on a plan I haven’t paid premiums for in over five years, I was confident it would be covered—and it was. A staff member confirmed there’d be no additional charges. Now, as a parent, I’m incredibly grateful to be part of a plan as comprehensive as Phia’s."

Often a person can be exposed to a dangerous substance or device and suffer injuries or illness as a result. Sometimes, the link between that hazard and the injuries is not discovered for many years. As a result, it is possible that we have only recently been made aware that the hazard you were exposed to years ago caused a particular condition, which is why the treatment is being questioned now.

Healthcare Recovery Solutions (HRS) is an organization that specializes in identifying medical claims that were caused by exposure to a toxic substance, defective medical device, faulty product or dangerous medication. You may not be aware that your illness or injury was caused by one of these hazards and that you and your health plan or fund may be able to recover from the third party that caused your illness or injury. The Phia Group has partnered with HRS to identify, investigate and pursue these opportunities for you and your health plan or fund to potentially recover money paid from potentially liable third parties.
